Musical Journey:
Born into a family of musicians, my formal training in Carnatic vocals and mridangam started at the tender age of 5. I continued my training under the tutelage of renowned Mridangam Maestro Guru Karaikudi Mani. In addition to this, I qualified MA in Rhythmology and MPhil in Music from Madras University. Apart from performing on stage since 1997, I am currently part of various albums as a percussionist. As a trained rhythmist and percussionist, I established myself as a composer to create a unique ensemble of melody and percussion under the classical and western genres.
